All Classes will be based in Ashtanga Yoga. This practice will follow portions of the primary series which consists of a systematic sequence of predetermined postures linked with the breathe. (please see diagram below) Classes will begin with a brief centering, followed by sun salutations, then on to standing and then seated postures, to conclude with final rest pose. These classes are offered at all levels. Prior experience is helpful but not necessary. Classes may also include restorative yoga, yin yoga, vinyasa and yoga nidra.
